1. Overview

FN Developers ("we", "us") operates https://fn-developers.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit the site or contact us, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to everyone, regardless of which country you are in.

We keep this short and plain because a privacy policy nobody reads protects nobody. If anything here is unclear, email us and we will explain it.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we genuinely need:

Information you give us directly: your name, email address, company name, and the contents of any message you send by email. We do not operate a phone line or a chat service, so we never ask for a phone number.
Project information: requirements, budgets, timelines, and files you share during a consultation or engagement.
Technical information: IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and pages viewed — collected in aggregate through analytics.
Cookies: small files used to remember preferences and measure traffic. You can disable them in your browser without losing access to any part of the site.

We do not buy personal data from third parties, and we do not build advertising profiles of visitors.

3. How we use your information

Your information is used for exactly four things:

To reply to your enquiry and deliver the services you asked for.
To send proposals, invoices, and project updates related to an active engagement.
To improve the website — which pages are useful, where people get stuck.
To meet legal and accounting obligations, such as keeping invoices for tax purposes.

We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not add you to marketing lists unless you explicitly asked to be added.

4. Who we share it with

A small number of trusted providers help us run the business. Each one only receives the data needed for its specific job, and each is bound by a data processing agreement:

Hosting and infrastructure providers (for running the website and client projects).
Email and communication tools (for correspondence).
Payment processors and banks (for invoices — they never see more than a payment reference).
Analytics providers (aggregated, pseudonymised usage data).

We may also disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights. If that ever happens, we will tell you unless we are legally prohibited from doing so.

5. How long we keep it

Enquiry data from people who never become clients is deleted after 12 months. Project records, contracts, and invoices are retained for up to 7 years because tax law requires it. Analytics data is retained in aggregate form and cannot be traced back to you after 14 months.

6. How we protect it

We use HTTPS everywhere, restrict internal access to client data to the people actively working on a project, keep systems patched and monitored, and review our access lists regularly.

No system on the internet is perfectly secure. If a breach ever affects your data, we will notify you and the relevant authority as quickly as the law requires.

7. Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to do any of the following, free of charge:

Show you a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correct anything that is inaccurate or incomplete.
Delete your data, subject to legal retention requirements.
Stop processing your data for marketing or analytics.
Explain any automated decision-making (we do not do any).

8. Children

Our services are aimed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has shared data with us, email us and we will delete it immediately.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the business or the law changes. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version. Material changes will be announced on this page rather than buried in a footer link.
